CPR Research

As the Paramedic support device is a from of giving first aid, we thought it necessary to have a medical expert who goes away and researches the latest medical techniques and guidelines so that they can be implemented through our device.

Upon Doing the research it was found that the following was the current guidelines as of 2010:

Current CPR procedure as of 2010:

• UNRESPONSIVE ?
• Shout for help
• Open airway
• NOT BREATHING NORMALLY ?
• Call 999
• 30 chest compressions
• 2 rescue breaths
• 30 compressions
• 100-120 compressions per min
• Depth of compressions 5-6cm
